Dr. Armstrong was born in Boston Massachusetts, and graduated from the University Minnesota Medical School. He is boarded in general surgery and cardio thoracic surgery and for the past several years has been active in family practice.
Dr. Armstrong completed his Medical Review Officer Training Program; he served in the United States Air Force and he is a member of several specialty organizations to include FACS, FACC, FCCP, STS, and AMA. In his spare time he enjoys actively participating in several civic endeavors.
